Join us for a one-hour lunch and learn session hosted by Becca Zelner at Greenlee Partners. Becca will explain the differences between executive orders and laws, highlighting their impacts on the country. It will also cover how orders and laws function at a statewide level. The session aims to provide valuable insights on these important and timely topics, inviting all social workers to participate.
All proceeds will support the legislative fund, helping cover the $24,000 annual cost of a lobbyist who advocates for issues like the Social Work Compact.

Becca Zelner, a graduate of Shippensburg University with a BSW and MSW, is a lobbyist in Harrisburg specializing in healthcare, human service policy, education, and economic development. She also oversees internships at Greenlee Partners and is a certified grant writer. Outside of work, Becca volunteers with several organizations, including the National Association of Social Workers, YWCA of Greater Harrisburg and Speranza Animal Rescue. She lives in New Cumberland with her husband and three pets, Simcoe, Ghost and Bear.
