Our Presenter:
Jamie Ware is a licensed social worker and therapist based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She holds a Master of Social Work degree (MSW) from the University of Washington and a Juris Doctor degree (JD) from Temple University. As a therapist, Jamie specializes in parts work, trauma-informed care, breathwork, somatic experiencing, ketamine-assisted therapy, and EMDR.
Before becoming a therapist, Jamie spent over two decades in legislative advocacy. Her past roles include:
- SVP of Legal, Regulatory, and Government Affairs at a national cannabis operator
- Senior Associate / Lobbyist at a prominent Pennsylvania government affairs firm
- Policy Director at a nonprofit public health institute
Jamie is a policy wonk at heart and continues to stay involved in policy and regulatory advocacy in Pennsylvania, in addition to being a therapist. She also volunteers for American Wild Horse Conservation and the Humane Society Rescue Team.
