The Clinical Certificate Program offers a comprehensive introduction to psychodynamic therapy. This program aims to deepen and expand participant's understanding of key theoretical concepts such as: transference, countertransference, the holding environment, container/contained, projective identification, enactment, and the therapist's use of self. These concepts will be applied to work with diverse populations in the consulting room as well as in nontraditional settings. Several complementary psychodynamic theories such as Object Relations, Relational, Ego, and Self Psychology will be explored.
